In their last blog, some of them were convinced Tavares would sign a 1 year $15M deal with the Cancucks... Why would he want to go to an even bigger tire fire?

The answer is Tavares. Leading up to this season, Tavares has played 1 playoff game for every 24.5 reg season games played. Ovechkin is one for every 9.5. And the Isle have won exactly 1 series with him in his 8 (soon to be 9) full seasons with him.
