I doubt that, Kadri's contract is way to valuable. 4.5m for a 3O goal scorer and plays against other top lines is unreal value.

I assure you, based on the proceeding comments, it was not. This was an angry frenchman that was riled up over a TSN article asking "Is any NHL team outright tanking?" and he was upset that "Funny TSN didn’t ask this question when the Leafs tanked harder and more obvious than any other team to try and land Matthews".
