- Re-sign Nylander
- a 7th d-man
- Bury Marincin alive in an unmarked grave in the middle of the mongolian steppe
- Re-sign Komarov
- Re-sign or replace JVR
- Save enough cap space in the following year to re-sign Matthews and Marner

they also need a top 4 RHD..
Carrick is still meh.. Polak should not and can not be in our top 6..

Also, I could see them keeping the bozek.. I'd guess; 2 yr/$5M deal. So, $2.5M per season..

Kadri will be the 3rd line C (tavares 1b)
FA Joe thornton will be the 4th line C for 1 mil
Nylander signs for 6.5

No way he does that, he’s giving up way to much money in a deal like that. I wish JVR luck wherever he goes after this season but can’t imagine leafs find a way to keep him.

Liljegren is a RHD with top 4 potential.. Maybe improving internally. But, if he is not ready, then yeah... we really do need a top 4 RHD.

Bozek is going to be 32 in a few days, he has 10 goals.. If the Leafs offer him more than that, I'd be surprised.. The Bozek is not worth more than that, IMO

there are no FA D that I would jump at. Carlson is good but 28 and will get paid..so pass

If a trade fell in their lap sure...but they are sitting 6th in the NHL with what they have...they can be patient

also Lilygrin is a RHD, he is in the plans I assume soon'ish

The way I define a need is the Leafs need to make it happen no matter what. I'm ok with going into next season with a sub-par D group again if it means Lou doesn't put on his Chiarelli mask.

There are 11 teams with less goals agains't than Toronto, it's not as dire as everyone makes it out to be.
