But the Leafs' scouting staff asked around. Did some investimigating.

Turns out Liljegren had mononucleosis! Yeah, I know! Totally explains his drop in production!

We were the only ones who knew that, so we grabbed him.

I can vouch for this... It's all true... I also heard that CBC Vancouver cannot wait until Seattle gets an NHL team so that they can finally cover an NHL team. They are expected to hire their first hockey correspondent within the next 12-24 months.

Johnson got smoked in the playoffs in a brutal hit, yes... But he was with the team all year I beleive.

Grundstrom.

His team (Frolunda) start playoffs on the 19th. If they have another early exit we may see him again with the Marlies during their Calder Cup run. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens
