I think only the Islanders are gonna give him $12M.. I can't see how other teams can fit that in, without icing an AHL caliber lineup.. Well, maybe.. Arizona.. They already have an AHL lineup |

None of those players are junk.....in fact if you could have those players as your 1D,1G and 1C you have the building blocks for a cup contender. Too bad the Habs have a poopty supporting cast

Karlsson, Miller and Theodore are RFA's and have very little leverage. Karlsson can probably get 5mil. Miller and Theodore 3mil and under.
Perron despite the numbers probably won't get anything over 5mil unless some crazy team (Pegulaville) get their man!
Neal will walk and get overpaid.
Have to take into account that Vegas doesn't have income tax. |

Same with me, the media and fans have overblown this so much.
Pasternak had 75 points for a PPG in his rfa year and got 6.6 mil...that's the ceiling if they can even reach a PPG.
Also, there's always the chance of Tavares, which I'm sure they would be willing to take a tad less if he were to sign. Especially Marner, his point total would sky rocket and would get paid when he is a UFA |
