Clearly a bogus penalty? This was not the case of a guy stepping on Konecny's stick while Konecny had his stick in a normal position during the normal course of play. Konecny reached out with his stick and placed in the players skates as the player was going by him. Clear cut penalty and the correct call. - MJL
Was it the correct call, yeah. Did TK deliberately trip the guy, NO. Crap happens. He played a strong game, they won. Good day!! |

Sticking the stick in a the players skate was deliberate. I doubt his intention was to trip the player but he did so and it was a legitimate penalty.

BiggE, watched it at a bar. The TK penalty, guy stepped on his stick. They call it, but clearly a pretty bogus penalty.
Finally looked like they controlled play and dictated the game. Good win to break the skid! - Hokeeguy9
Thanks, our crack radio team missed the whole stepped on the stick part |

Oduya wasn't good enough For a bad sens team.
He is too slow for nhl and should be in the ahl for playoff insurance for big club |

The question is what will the Flyers do when Oduya is ready to play? - MJL
leave sanheim in.The flyers are not winning the cup this yr.Even if they were to miss the playoffs this fan base wouldnt turn on them.leave him in let him learn .oduya was always an insurance policy |

Sanheim was solid tonight. Had one bad shift the entries game. Active in the transition game. Better player than Manning, no question...don't know what else he has to prove to stay in over Manning. God he is just a turnover machine...(frank)ing infuriating - Giroux_Is_God
Agree Manning and Gudas were solid tonight, not perfect but solid. Everyone has there opinion but to say Manning is a turnover machine(Read the stats ) if you can understand them , I’ll try to make it easy to understand.Agree Sanheim was solid in 12 mins, played sheltered minutes with Amac who was very good in 17 mins.Provy played 23 mins,Ghost 20 mins, Gudas and Manning were both 20 mins.On the season Provy has 79 giveaways in 68 gms,Ghost 43 in 64 gms,Amac 40 in 52,Hagg 35 in 68gms,Gudas 45 in 56 , and Manning 28 in 53 games , finally Sanheim 22 in 35 games.Pretty sure Manning wouldn’t be playing 20 mins if both the D coach and Hak thought he was a turnover machine. Looks like Sanheim should be called one instead, anyway doesn’t matter what you think your not the coach.😀Pretty obvious Hak thinks Manning is better right now or Sanheim would be getting more minutes. Heard there’s a GM job in Carolina you should apply with your knowledge.Should just be happy was one of the best games of the year and still have to wine. |

At the hotel, drink in hand. Game sounded good on radio other than what I’m guessing was a pretty stupid penalty by TK.
How did Sanheim look? - BiggE
He looked very good. Pinched at the right times. Broke up some neutral zone plays with his stick and got the play going our way. Had a couple of really nice tape to tape outlet passes. Was in good position on D. Him and Amac worked well together. Very solid game for Sanheim. One play he fell down and tripped a Jet, call went against Lehterä but I think it could have gone on Sanheim.
Mzarek was fabulous.
Lehterä looked great today. |

This is another flawed analysis on your part. Developing young players does not mean just throw them out there and whatever happens, happens. The Flyers organization which includes Hextall and Hakstol have done a strong job in looking at each player as an individual and assessing their needs in development. It is no coincidence that pretty much every young player is thriving under Hakstol. I expect the same with Sanheim and others that come along. Rather than look at the facts and the actual evidence, you continue to comment with a negative bias that is not in any way based in reality, nor is is backed up by any sound judgement.

As much as I want to laugh at the guy. He gets to sit on his ass being paid great money to basically work out.
He’s somehow managed to negotiate and BS his way to his current deal.
Dude needs to be the one meeting with Kim Jong. |

With any other player I'd give the benefit of doubt. Not with Marchand. - MJL
If he doesn't get suspended for that the NHL is a joke. Guy just comes off 5 games suspension gets fines for embellishment and now this. He is making a mockery of the league just frankly, basically thinking he is above the law because he is an elite player. There is no way that was an accident he raised his hands up on purpose to Duclair's head to try and take it off. Then he always has a dumb look on his face after each incident like "What did I do"? What a POS. |

Don't know who it was but someone said he's seemed like he's a little quicker which I agree with. Speculated an injury. Interesting thought.
He's played his best hockey of the season in the last few games. He's forced some opponents into turnovers or hurry some plays. Chipped in some offensive zone time too. Definitely ok with this.
Read has been admirable as well. Noticeably pressuring on the pk. Made a few things happen too 5v5. I think he's played himself into the lineup for now. |
