I think when they play the right way it's a matter of really wanting it and desperation. The perimeter crap is just like they're going through the motions to get through a game. Passionless. These guys, or most of them have played a lot of massive emotional games the past few years... It's hard to duplicate that sh!t every game when the stakes arnt that high.

This has been a big issue that I've harped on. Last night's game and especially the Islanders game saw the Pens dominate play, but most chances coming from the perimeter and not those high danger areas.

Sheary back to sucking the life outta the crosby line...leave him off there for good. Why no sprong seriously. Bring him up and leave him up.

Stars had some zone time... Expect more that first line is world class for them... But then the Pens got their own zone time and that line looked like it finally clicked. Nice goal.

19 15 81 look a little more in sync tonight. That can only lead to great things. Don't hate jooris at all as a fourth. Getting rowns outta the center slot seems to be key to that fourth line.
