Haha it's not that I'm really postive its more so that I'm not discouraged. Alot unfortunate bounces and a stupid call last night, yet the Pens still made it interesting with only 4 mins left. I'm not getting back up over game 69 in the following season of repeat championships.

They have to see some type of success this season, especially the way they were all carrying on preseason! Worse than Oil fans.

There comes a "time" where some people just no longer care in a sense, like you said Matt, not necessary being positive, rather just not getting discouraged. Spending emotions on anything out of "your" control gets repetitively boring....so really its like a hockey enlightenment in a sense.....you can enjoy something much more if you actually have no expectations. Besides like you mention its game 69 in the reg season....I just laugh at all those that take hockey like its life or death and spend so many emotions on something out of their control....

Yea that was horrendous, those refs shouldn't be in the playoffs for that call alone.

If everyone is healthy it seems to me we can have a 4th line with real hockey talent.

Sheary-Sheehan-sprong could score some goals.

I know dk been pimping the 3 line hockey mantra and pk guys on the 4th.

I vastly think it’s better to play 4-line hockey.
I’m not sure who would play pk? Is it impossible to train brassard in the last part of the season. I wouldn’t even mind giving Crosby/Malkin some pk time. Even if you give them directions to not block shots their explosiveness for a breakaway adds something. I love the 4 good center model but what’s the point of acquiring the center upgrade if Sheehan is now put with wingers he can’t perform with.

I know sprong would never be trusted on pk this year and sheary might be a little smallish to give a ton of time too.

If we go with our best 4-line hockey it would look like rust, Hagelin, Sheehan would be the prime pk guys. My guess it would necessitate giving 30-40 seconds a night to Crosby or Malkin in the pk but I think that is a worthy trade to add 7 minutes a night of a really good 4th line.

Last night, again, was a poorly called game on both sides. Dumo was pushed by Hainsey, shouldn’t have been interference.

The Pens also got away with more than a couple, and also had ample chances on the PP to even the game.
