He was part of that, one of the worst actually which is a pretty good indication of how bad he is.
- Sabresfan-365

the two games before he got his first start of the season, the sabres were an utter trainwreck and lost 6-3, 6-2...

did he make the team suck from the pressbox?

There was a 10 min stretch where the closest we got to their zone was clearing it to centre.
- Sabresfan-365

Well we don’t have the lineup to beat Vegas 5-4

Idk what u guys expected?
Obviously, we are gonna play it tight

no, the team sucked because it doesnt have the players capable of running the high offense game plan Housley wanted to, which is why they went back to the Bylsma formation after game 4.

Gorges wasn't part of that suck, he was part of this suck. Both sucked, lot's of sucking to go around.

There's playing it tight and then there's playing like you are down a man.

I feel like I’m the only one on here who still thinks Bailey can become a decent player for the Sabres

Anyone else with me?

I don't know how anyone can find this enjoyable with the season lost and a high draft pick in sights.

I dont care about the W/L after elimination, just entertain. This is the opposite of that.

hate breeds strange takes on things...i'll give you gorges ain't a Norris candidate and that he's where he should be, a reserve d-man, but why put the plight of the entire d on his shoulders every chance you get?

So does bias. Ive been equally down on bogosian, Scandella, Ristolainen. Gorges shouldn't be a reserve guy, he should be gone. And playing him over Antipin regularly is bizarre to say the least.

they spent a majority of the last half of the 2nd in the knights zone or in possession of the puck

Although i do want us to finish last...
i also cheer for us while I’m watching
(If that makes sense?)

We are gonna finish near/over 30 shots

We are winning against one of the leagues best teams

Again...
idk what u thought was gonna happen?
But their style of play here should’ve been expected

Would u rather see th Calgary game all over again?
No thanks

I mean one guy has legit puck moving skills, the other is best known for shot blocking ability.

Its 2018 not 1990, but the puck mover in. They literally have nothing to lose.

Except that’s not at all true
Antipin has played in more than 20 of the last 25 games

I didn't see the calgary game so i don't know. Although i will say that id accept a stinker occasionally if it was because they opened things up and started creating more offensively. Not that they have the talent to win like that yet, but you could at least see who has what it takes for that style and who knows, maybe see more goals too.

So play like they tried in the beginning of the season?

I do hope Housley goes back to that next year.

The end result of these games are meaningless, why not let antipin keep going?
