Street meat is blessed. It is halal. - rangerdanger94
Q What does halal slaughter involve?
A. Traditional halal meat is killed by hand and must be blessed by the slaughterman. Islam has strict laws on the proper method of slaughtering an animal. One, called dhabihah, requires a swift, deep incision with a sharp knife on the neck that cuts the jugular vein.
For meat to be considered halal the animal must be alive and healthy before it is killed, and all the blood must be drained from the body.
It's blessed with a sharp slit of the jugular vein |

Oh, well there you have it.
I did some work in a bakery one day a Rabbi came in to bless the bread. Walked in, said a few words, and walked out with an envelope. |

you would rather see Buch go and thats not a stretch at all - mrn22
Nope, I just don't see Buch as a top line player. Maybe he changes under a different coach, but the dude will play like a top line player for 5 games and disappear for 20. |

Rangers need to up the ceiling of talent on this team. It might be hard to do but we have 2nd line players on the 1st line. I honestly believe the only top line player we have is Kreider and that's with the right center. I don't see anyone else on this team that should be on a top line. Maybe it's Chytil but we won't know for awhile. I would move Spooner to the wing and keep him. Vlad I am on the fence about and another one who I think is a very good 3rd line player on a contender which is what he basically was on Tampa. I think they might have to move on from him only because the money and I rather have Spooner than Vlad.
When I say up the Talent they need to start fresh and really be dedicated to this rebuild. When I am looking at talent alone this is where I feel everyone on the team fits on a contending team. Maybe Chytil fits the bill as a #1 but that's TBD and Anderson honestly fits to be a 2nd or 3rd Line center most likely so where does that leave Hayes or Mika? some really tough decisions to be made.
Kreider ??? ???
??? Mika Buch
Spooner Hayes Zuccs

Spooner has excellent potential as the point forward on the #1 pp unit. He has been outstanding since his arrival. Keep in mind he is also just entering his prime and is almost .80 ppg which is better than anyone on the current rangers. I like him lots but he could fetch a decent return. He is a lot like all those guys getting a chance in Vegas, Marchessault, Perron, Haula, Smith, Karlsson etc, all these guys were just like Spooner last year until they got a chance to shine on an expansion team.... I say keep Spooner and let him grow into an important piece. |

Sounds gross, but add veggie cream cheese to a BEC next time. Just a little. It's a good take on a classic. |

I don't either. Also don't think Vesey is going to be a top player, despite the sophomore slump. |

Vesey definitely wont be. I like Vesey as a 3rd liner cheap. You still need those types of players in a cap world. |

If he had a true 1C I could see him as a top line guy but I am fine with 2nd line for Buch
wont disagree that he needs to up the consistency but when he is on he can be really noticeable |

I have no issue keeping him for another year under hopefully a different coach. My issue with Buch on the top line is his even strength numbers. I know he has been bounced around a bit, but even strength he has 9 goals and 23 points. Thats awful for a top line player. I'm willing to see what happens though, I haven't said he should be traded... yet. |

Just not impressed. Not enough offensive production, and he doesn't do anything else. |

moving forward, I am very concerned about Buchenvich's durability and his finishing ability. Luckily we have one more year on his ELC at 925K to figure that one out. |

Thats ok, I will be Vesey's last fan.
I'm giving Buch and Vesey 1 more year. If after next year they look the same, they can both (frank) off. |

A ton of RFAs coming up w/ arbitration rights...some will HAVE to go. NYR can't continue to pay average players 5 mill. per.
Vesey, Hayes, Zibby, Zuuc, spooner, vladdy, Kreider, etc can't all be signed and have 4-5 mill cap hits...
If so then top end talent isn't ever going to be able to be afforded |
