I’m not sure, I never cook it in the oven because I’m afraid of burning down my kitchen. - smellmyfinger
As long as you don't pour the grease into the oven and leave tons of food in the bottom of your oven you'll be fine. The bulk of the grease stays in the pan. Whatever does spatter onto the walls of the oven will be cooked off over time. We use the oven all the time and it looks pretty damn clean.
You can also use the self cleaning feature but only if you have a hood fan, sometimes this can smoke your house out. |

I do it in this industrial toaster oven so I guess I could pick it up with oven mitts and throw it off my deck if I had to - mrn22
yeah I do it in a pan so the fire can become mobile if I need it to. |

id keep him, new coach who doesnt have pictures in his bedroom of Fast might keep him where he belongs (4th line) - mrn22
Rangers need to up the ceiling of talent on this team. It might be hard to do but we have 2nd line players on the 1st line. I honestly believe the only top line player we have is Kreider and that's with the right center. I don't see anyone else on this team that should be on a top line. Maybe it's Chytil but we won't know for awhile. I would move Spooner to the wing and keep him. Vlad I am on the fence about and another one who I think is a very good 3rd line player on a contender which is what he basically was on Tampa. I think they might have to move on from him only because the money and I rather have Spooner than Vlad.
When I say up the Talent they need to start fresh and really be dedicated to this rebuild. When I am looking at talent alone this is where I feel everyone on the team fits on a contending team. Maybe Chytil fits the bill as a #1 but that's TBD and Anderson honestly fits to be a 2nd or 3rd Line center most likely so where does that leave Hayes or Mika? some really tough decisions to be made.
Kreider ??? ???
??? Mika Buch
Spooner Hayes Zuccs

It should be noted that pork roll is also less of a fire risk. |

Rangers need to move some dead weight on this team and start fresh. I'm also ready to move on from Vesey as he hasn't showed me anything to make me think he should be part of the future here. Jesper Fast is another one that it's either he stays on the 4th line or he needs to go. Love the hustle and he is good on the PK but not nearly good enough to be on a contending team top 9 fowards IMO. - adwolf130
Biggest worry for everybody is that when a player leaves the NYR he becomes the player WE all thought he could be. The fact is that over the past 20 years or so, not one player has exceeded what he has done in NY somewhere else. I challenge anybody to find a player that absolutely lit it up somewhere else.

We're a weird team, there's a lot of redundant players and now we've added Spooner and Namestnikov to the mix, Spooner is producing so how do you justify getting rid of him? He's definitely made getting rid of Vesey a lot easier.
I can't see getting rid of Zucc, he's the clear leader on this team and the vet we should absolutely keep, Hayes is another weird one, he's a good 3rd line center, I'm in favor of signing JVR to a similar hometown deal that Shatty signed and Seguin is the guy I want after next season if he's available.
Also don't forget Chytil, Andersson and Howden, I think eventually Andersson moves to wing
Would you love

He didn't do any better in Vancouver
Messiers' stats went down substantially in Vancouver from his time in NYR, and then they went back up upon his return to NY from Vancouver..

If Zibby gets hurt again next year, than he's a bust in my mind. He just seems fragile. I would have no problem trading Zibby and move on.
1st C ....?
2nd. Vladdy/Chytil
3rd. Hayes
4th..Andersson |
