Im a fan as well...AHL ain't helping him though. Not many players, who've been in the league as long as he has benefits from a demotion to AHL and then comes back to NHL....Can't think of any

I was kidding about Redden. Didn't know he made the best of it in Hartford. Always thought he would be pissed about the demotion, glad to hear he was a good mentor. Should be for the $$$$$.

I don't doubt you, that was a hell of a day. Spooner definitely needs to be resigned, not traded at the draft.

Hayes should be untouchable for at least the upcoming season. He is FINALLY shootingt he puck, and the results are undeniable. If he continues this onto next year, there is no reason he can't be a consistent 30 goal scorer.

W/ Zibby and Hayes a C....does NYR pay Vlad? Not to mention Andersson and Chytil.

Tough decisions coming, especially if either by draft, trade, or FA a top line center comes in. Not enough spots for all of them. 1 or 2 of them can move to wing, but don't want to have 6-7 fowards makking 4-6 million $$$ either. Need to keep $$ for that #1 C!!!!!!

All those generational talents are drafted, and NYR hasn't been high enough in draft to get one of those guys. Who knows...maybe Gorts trades 2 1st rounders to get a top 5 pick

I worked at the Apple Core summer camp for years (Long Beach Arena) and he was a guest for a session on the ice w/ pee-wees. He dropped the Fbomb so much..It was like every other word! He was never asked back again
