I’ve been out to watch Flint a few times in recent weeks, and Gordeev has caught my eye every time. He’s a fantastic skater for 6-foot-6, and combined with decent skills, I’ve seen a couple of highlight-reel plays from him this season. The main issue on Gordeev has been his brain historically, but I think he’s moving the puck better. He’s not a high-end guy, but I certainly see some NHL possibilities in his game.
