Can you imagine the stories that guy must have about his career?

If he does retire, I really hope he writes a book.

First Stephen King book I read was Salem's Lot. It was franking fantastic.

Then I read Night Shift. A real mix. Some stories were absolutely fantastic - some were really crap.

And then I read the Stand. Man, it dragged on for about 300 pages too long. I never read another Stephen King book again.

Lots of people don't like his newer stuff because he's not on coke anymore
The Stand was good, but yeah, too long. Still though, you're missing out if that's where you stopped. 11/22/63 is one of the best books I've ever read. Not his typical bloodbath thing either which makes it all the better.

So, Jose Bautista may retire... Discuss...

No more book talk.

- PatC80

Good for him. Made a great career late in the game.

A book i was really disappointed in.... The Alchemist.

No Leafs game in a week, and we've resorted to... (frank)ing book club?

Gotta wonder if the Leafs looked at it, and if they just have a hard rule about giving up a first for a rental.

Because swapping a 2nd for a 1st to go from Pleks to Stastny is a no-brainer, unless you don't think this is "your year".

I also wonder what Stastny is going to get this summer. Hasn't really shown any drop-off these last few years. Would be a nice Bozak replacement, with maybe Johnsson/Kap/Leivo as his wingers.

Hyman(sigh)-Matthews-Nylander
Marleau-Kadri-Marner
Johnsson-Stastny-Kapanen
Leivo-Gauthier-Martin?

pretty good-looking line up, and pretty sure we save some money not re-signing Bozak/JVR/Komarov. Probably enough to add another d-man, too.

- Feeling Glucky?

Depending on the price.....stas could be a good addition

I have no problem with books, they are great for fires at the cottage. If used with wood for kindling, the fire can last a long time.. Also, they are good for coasters like Scabs said..

The one positive to take from the lack of Leaf games this week, is that there is a limited number of posts by UG.

So rumour has it, Mr. Lansburg is on is way to Robidas Island.

He said that Lou is no longer as sharp as he used to be.

Whether it is true or not, you cannot (frank) with the mafia man.

See you.
