As much as I dislike the putz that is OV..I have to agree with you, Ovechkin is probably the best LW of all time.

I would just like to clarify my post had nothing to do with all time. I would take Benn or Marchand and even Hall over him now.

Since coming into the league, Matthews leads all players in EV goals. I’ll take Hyman over anyone.

Only better book I read in high school was Life of Pi. Still my favorite book and also rated one of the top ten novels from 2000-2009. Yann Martel is a great Canadian author. If you haven’t read it do it. First 100 pages are tough sledding especially when you have to read it. Powered through it and just wanted to get it over with and it became my favorite book over the last 200-300 pages. It’s unreal.

Woooo! Man what a fun team to watch. All this without Bergeron, McAvoy and Backes. Jesus H. Christ I wish there more than 6 bruins fans on this site so I didn’t have to post this here

I’m sure you all feel the same way

First, I hope your "island" house isn't too (frank)ed up.

Second, karma is a female dog....Bruins do well then global warning (frank)s up a perfectly good house. What happens next???

Okay, fine. I will take you into the future. I'm going to give you a sneak peak at how this karma poop works....

You need to wish hard for the Bruins to lose more or your house is (frank)ed....karma.....and they definitely have to start losing by the first round of the playoffs.

Are we clear? ARE. WE. (frank)ING. CLEAR!!!

(J/k aside, hope your house is cool and (frank) off Bruins)

You missed your opportunity when it was inundated by my own height. I like to think I can laugh at it now

Honestly it’s just a house. I’m trying to take a positive approach.

Life of Pi was ok. I thought it was an interesting read, but not as special as it was portrayed to be, like most overhyped books by the establishment.

You want a cool, somewhat historical fiction? Try books by James Clavell. Taipan or Shogun are both (frank)ing awesome books.

They also give a good perspective of other cultures (partly as they are perceived by English people) during the age of sail. Taipan gives an interesting perspective into the China tea trade and all the horrible corruption involved (European's selling opium for tea), while Shogun is a cool story about a European navigating through Japanese politics while being a total foreigner that doesn't even know how to bathe regularly.

I decided to read some Stephen King for the first time since I was a kid, and he's written about a zillion books since then. Started reading the Dark Tower series, I'm on the third one now. I forgot how much I love his voice. There was always that thing about how he didn't get any credit as a serious writer because of the horror genre - although I think that perception has changed - but where I really don't think he gets credit is as a comic writer. There's so much really deadly, deadpan humour in his stuff. I'm really enjoying it. I've never read a long series of books either, so I'm stoked that I have thousands more pages to go in this story.

His twitter feed is amazing too. Go Leafs Go.

The Dark Tower series is pretty amazing. I've read them all. I won't spoil it by giving my impressions, but it's tough lol. Enjoy it. Stephen King is one of the best authors of our time imo.

Or Catcher in the rye.

That is quite simply the worst book I have ever bothered to finish reading. I just kept expecting it to get better or actually reach some sort of meaningful conclusion considering all the love it gets. Garbage.

Even the critics don't really call it a literary masterpiece because of it being deep or being beautiful writing, noooo, it supposedly perfectly evokes what it means to be a confused teenager or some crap.

I mean seriously? You need a book about some moron that wanders off from school, gets sexually molested by his favorite teacher and calls everyone a phony in order to understand what it means to be a teenager again? What the (frank) happened during their childhood?

Yeah, I read Catcher In The Rye and I didn't get what all the fuss was about either. I think the mystique around Salinger makes it more of a big deal than it is, or maybe it was edgier at the time it came out.

Every single flaky chick out there loves that (frank)ing book man. That's the most useful thing about it. If Catcher is one of a woman's all-time favourite books...mehhhh....South Park did a hilarious episode where they riff on that too, about how it's not shocking at all. That episode is better than the book.

My favorite factoid about that novel is that it is supposedly found on a lot of serial killers. I remember joking about whether you had to be crazy to actually think the book was any good, or if reading it over and over drove them crazy.

They identify with the alienation of the character and/or Salinger's isolation I assume? Or they're obsessed with a flaky chick.
