I think Hexy would much rather have Sanheim playing in the nhl. Hakstol chose not to play him and gave Hexy no option other than sending him down.

I also don’t understand why Hägg gets talked about like he’s a solid NHLer when he’s been anything but

I think as a rookie he's really been, overall, a solid player for the Flyers. But I think he's playing too many minutes. He's averaging 18:19/gm TOI. He should be in the 16:30 range IMO.

Size, speed and skill really go a long way in the NHL. Look at Joe Thorton and Ryan Getzlaf.

A couple alarming stats. Last 4 games. 20 goals against 10 goals for. The Flyers season GA/GA now is only +1. Look at all of the other playoff teams in the NHL. That's not a good look.

He’s been OK , believe he’s overused and over rated just my opinion. As much as some rag on Amac he’s helped Hagg. You’ll see all of Myers, Sanheim(Rover) and even Morin pass him in the future. He has limited offensive ability compared to Myers and Sanheim, and if Morin can get healthy he will be better defensively and offer a little more grit. Sure he leads in hits but stifles offence by just throwing puck off the wall most of the time. Tough game back for Simmons as finished -4. Oleksiak got a double minor for head butting at the end, like to see Morin kick his 6ft 7 255 pds piece of dog poop ass next year. Even Simmons isn’t in his class as just too big and Simmons is too valuable on the ice.
