So true, that's why there is still a market for coal. But that has to change and China (not so much India) knows it. That's why they are investing $360B to change their energy-use system to sustainable energy. That's more direct investment than US and Canada combined.

The world is changing my friend and it's changing quickly. As an investor I know what horse I'm putting my money on.

Funny I was chatting with the construction commissioning coordinator today, he's Indian from Chennai, he's 49 years old, about him retiring. He's a wealthy man in his country, he has a 1500 square ft home worth $150,000 dollars and the laborers here look at him likes he's a God.

They just bought some little brand new Suzuki car for 10 grand and he was so happy he was showing me pictures. He's a great guy and a good family man, his life is providing for his kids and his family.

Where I'm going with this is he's a 1%'er over there, he could never afford fancy things we're talking about.

Forgoing the opportunity to play for Sweden in upcoming World championship.

Western societies for sure, but we live in a bubble, half of the world's population, India, China, Asia don't have our salaries or luxuries. It's not even plausible for them.

And don't forget the rednecks, lol, and the Arabs, they'll never have interest in a vehicle with no power and you can't hear.

I'm just joking around but the LeftCoaster persona is becoming synonymous with gluttony.

I read he was playing for Sweden most likely? I've got a feeling he stays in Sweden for another year, which is fine by me.

Same.
Hopefully he starts playing centre regularly. We badly need someone else in that position too step up...and defense and goal and left wing.🤣

why would he stay in Sweden? He is the best player and is going to win the scoring title. what else can he prove? How will that help his development? He needs to be pushed.

That's why I said online persona and not you personally. On here, we are exaggerations of our true selves.

I have a friend who works for BP. Business is booming so there's no worries in the short term. My investment strategy in alternative energy is definitely long term.

Gas prices are now sitting at $150.9 per litre at some stations in Vancouver. And there are reports prices could go up even more in the coming days.

Where's that?

I go to the Costco in Abbottsford and it's like 20 cents cheaper a litre than in Vancouver.

Vancouver is so anti-car it's almost racism.

Why does he need go "prove" anything? There's no rush, let him physically and mentally mature for another year, much like Boeser who spent two years in college. Peter Forsberg spent three years in Sweden before he came over.

If he wants to play another year there, fine, if he wants to try and make the Canucks, that's fine too. I'd rather he comes over when he's ready than push him into the lineup and have another kid with no confidence because you wanna sell tickets.

I truly believe he could be our best player next season. Yes, perhaps better than Boeser. He is ready. Same weight as Ehlers and he has no problems with the big meanies in the NHL.

Hey, I understand the interest. But the end result does not matter.

The only thing that matters is that he is committed to whatever decision is made and not forced into something by the organization.

I say we rush him in. He could leave the gate open for Gaudette and Gaudette can break his collarbone...then the Vancouver media can chastise EP for causing and injury to Gaudette. I mean...par for the course no?

I was at the Langley location. Only the 2nd time I’ve been there but if I’m ever around that area I’m definitely going again.

But yeah, it’s getting ridiculously expensive to live here.
