Mrazek needs to make some saves but our defense needs to show up too. Manning and Gudas are awful together.

edit...he could have bodied him but bit on the fake drop pass

I think he deserves more than one period playing for a new team after not playing at all for a week before you judge him.

But then again if he had played well that period I’m sure you would have found something equally ridiculous to blather about to make yourself feel smart.

With his stick and skating ability Ive always felt he would make a great penalty killer.

He didn’t look good on the penalty kill or on the last goal, mind you we need a save once in a while. First goal Oduya was terrible, and Mrazek didn’t didn’t come up with a needed save , second goal Ghost didn’t show much urgency in getting a stick on the shot and again no save when needed. There’s probably a reason Oduya got waived and not like Flyers waiving Alt, to be available for Phantoms playoffs. Ottawa just didn’t want him. Still think it’s a good pickup as didn’t cost anything but time will tell if he can help us.

How do you lead an offense when you're hurt? Please explain.

Rope-a-dope hockey. 2 breakaway goals against. Book appears to be out on the Flyers. Limit them to the perimeter and block as many shots as can be. Would like to see the flyers shoot first instead of that pass-first mentality. Simple shots, drive the net, look for boards. More hitting would be nice too.
