In an M. Night Shyamalan type twist, I feel like this game is going to end with Christopher Gibson taking off his mask to reveal he was John Gibson all along, on loan from the Ducks.

Sheahan might need to move back to 3C for a bit. Brass has been ineffective so far.

I think they need to stick with it for the time being. Try to get some continuity. It kind of sucks that Phil got dinged up right before Brassard got here.

We need Sid to pick it up. He's been kind of slow for several games now.

I get that. He’s an nhl player and shouldn’t have trouble with the systems and will get it going.

I feel like Sheahan has just been playing a lot better then he has though.

Nah, the Pens usually do real well against Anaheim's Gibson. They seem to have a lot more trouble with mediocrities like this guy and Keith Kincaid, often making them look like Marty Brodeur in his prime.

But if we get 60 shots on net tonight, 2 or 3 might go in.

Missed the first period. Aside from the score, have the Pens played better than the last three games?

Yes. Better for the most part. Sid still looks like he’s skating with Douglas Murray on his shoulders.

I'm on vacation so not catching it, but 25 saves already.

Curious, noticed Kuhnhackl has 4 shots already. 4th line looking better with Sheary?

Pens need to be more patient with their passing.

Worlds better for the little I've seen so far. I missed the first period.

Much better. 3 shots for him on the same shift.

Absolutely it is. I'm still skeptical of Sheary, but he's having his best game in a month. Just a little more space. Sheahan continues to play well. Can't handcuff him with a couple of traffic cones.

Anyone have or know how to get the zone exit stats for Sheary?

Seems like Oleksiak has taken a bit of edge out of his game. He’s had chances to hit guys and has opted for stick checks

Simon should not leave the lineup anymore.

It's hard to criticize Sully, but it was flat out stupid to limit his team with 3 lines the way he did.

He just does so many good things on and away from the puck.

Don’t need to injure him but he’s way to comfortable in there.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

Agree, the point wasn't just to get Brassard, but to have a 4th line that plays close to a 3rd line. Sheahan is a guy I really like and want to see him continue to be used well.

Includes taking penalties. He’s on thin ice because of that more than his play.
