They were lucky goals but still count. Geez. I can't believe the Refs almost handed this game to you guys.

Jarry needed that. Especially after that 1st. He played well. Not a ton of work which may have been harder after that 1st goal. Lotsa time to think about it.

Have you ever seen that's before? (frank)ing unbelievable!

I think there may have been only a few odd man rushes against that game.

Is that us or them?

(frank)ing Marchand. If he wasn't such a grub, his rep would be 1 of the best playing in my opinion.

C'mon man. Let's be real. The Isles scored two incredibly flukey goals. The game should have ended 2-0 in regulation.
- JimmyP

the Pens completely outplayed them, but the isles did a very good job at not letting a lot of quality chances at Gibson. They were not letting any good passes through.

No. If I purchased that I wouldnt get any work done throughout the week. I like listening to Mike Lange & the ol 29er. They know more about hockey than I ever will. Just watched the end of Bruins Habs as it was a free game.

I wonder what Sid thinks of him, trains with him in the off season. He's probably a top bloke off the ice.

Sid likes to play with hard working guys with some skill that's why he likes him. Marchand is a perfect fit for Sid.

I have wanted him for sid for 3 years now. it is like a dream. which is why I loved to see them play together in the world cup of hockey. one of the big reason canada won that tournament was because of that line. bergeron did alot too ofc

seriously. theres zero reason he shouldnt be in every night. hes not great or anything, but he can just go about his business out there without smearing himself in poop like hunwick does

Nah, the Pens usually do real well against Anaheim's Gibson. They seem to have a lot more trouble with mediocrities like this guy and Keith Kincaid, often making them look like Marty Brodeur in his prime.

But if we get 60 shots on net tonight, 2 or 3 might go in.

I realise we just won, but if we do continue this inconsistency & other teams regain theirs, which WC do we want? Atlantic or Metro (hypothetically of course)?

i think its crazy to assume that the first seed in the division is a likelihood.

im thinking a first round matchup with the flyers is on the horizon

I'm not sure the Flyers won't end up as a WC. The Devils can get back up there if they find some consistent form. The Caps? Who knows but they're travelling pretty well at the moment. If we keep going up & down there's a real chance we fall to a WC spot. The Panthèrs are on fire. Going to be interesting if the Bruins keep winning & Tampa falls back to earth.

Bettman wet dream, many teams within hope of playoffs.

It's funny, 'cause you always hear fans are stupid and they don't know what they're talking about. So Sullivan makes moves that most of us have been talking about over the last week and boom, they get a win while looking competent in all 3 zones.

I understand they're trying to help Hunwick find his game. What I don't understand is playing 3 lines because you don't have faith in the players on the 4th line. I especially don't understand this whenever Sullivan/JR's philosophy has been 4 scoring lines.
