They just need to hit on who they select...but 1st time in a very long time I feel comfortable with their front office personnel and there higher likelihood of getting it right.

Looking at the metrics from the game last night, if I am reading them correctly, aside from high danger chances, the Sabres outplayed the Lightning and deserved to win.

That is surprising considering their lineup although it matches what it looked like in the 2nd and 3rd period.

What else looked at least somewhat obvious is the Tampa goaltender was shaky in net last night.

Especially if you factor in the assumed lockout looming.
So, drafting a guy that potentially needs two more years to properly develop...could be great timing.
