I actually used to be a huge armia fan, rarely see him play cause...well, winnipeg.

wonder what fan impression of him is (excluding the jets trolls)

I watch Winnipeg a lot. He’s a good player. Just not as good as Ehlers, Laine, Perrault, Connor so he’s not going to get top 6 time with good centers

Never happen, wait until you see how many posts and blogs about where he signs or what happens with the picks or how much he gets. This could be another year or so.

the patch work method is far less effective
- Sabresfan-365

Probably right...
but it’s fair to ask how that’s gonna affect Eichel over the next couple years

I imagine at some point some of these wingers will be moved for budget reasons, should give armia a chance with a top 6 C

I'd like to believe that playing with actual elite talent instead of make shift elite talent will make it bearable for him until this team is ready again

Apparently directv doesn’t think I should watch the Sabres anymore. The last 3 or 4 games my auto record for Sabres games hasn’t worked.

Why wouldn’t he be? He’s going to score 13-15 in a bottom 6 role. You really don’t think he’d have 20 with Jack?

This isn’t just one season of outliers. This is year 3 for Risto, O’Reilly, etc of not being a good 5 on 5 player.

Jack struggled his rookie year 5 on 5, and has since been amazing. Why doesn’t the environment argument apply to him?

- sbroads24

Armia with Jack would essentially be like Pyatt with the Sedins

Assuming that Armia’s efficiency will remain the same rate (& this his production would take a big jump) is basically just a guess

It’s certainly not an accurate measure of his talent

And Pitt doesn’t play their best 6 guys in their top6
Winnipeg doesn’t have to either
If they wanted to put Armia in the top6 & spread their scoring talent over 3 lines,
they could easily do that

They do.

Wheeler/Scheifele/Connor
Roslovic/Little/Perrault
Laine/Stastny/Ehlers
Armia/Lowry/Copp

They have 4 decent lines once Lowry is healthy.

Armia is decent, and is literally worse than 6 of their other wingers

2018 1st, Mittelstadt have higher ceilings than anyone thats been brought in to play with Jack

maybe's include Nylander, Guhle and Ullmark. Guhle especially given his speed

Don't sleep on Baptiste. They've played 2 or 3 games together and Baptiste had a beautiful goal
