Yip...Might take a few games for Brassard to adjust and get going but I think once he does , look out.
I'm actually a little sad about how little of Sheahan I'm seeing this eve... So far anyway. Kinda feel bad for him. He went from being on a smoking line to 4C mins. - MattStrat
I feel bad for him too. I think Sheahan, Simon and ZAR could do some damage against weaker defenders. |

Rick Nash is good. His playoff "woes" are way over blown. That's gonna be a huge pick up for Boston. |

Yeah. I don't quite understand having both Kuhn and Rowney there. At least one of ZAR and Simon should be there for offense. |

Nash is James Neal if James Neal had a solid two-way game and wasn't a scumbag.
The problem always was his bloated contract. If he was a $5/$6M player, you wouldn't hear him get called out so badly. |

I disagree. He's paid for au too much for what he does. He's soft & doesn't have another gear for the playoffs. |

Could you imagine if we really dressed out best players. ZAR, Sheahan and Sprong on the 4th line. Goals would be scored. |

What is soft? He's one of the best board battlers in the league. 41 points in 77 playoff games is solid. Yeah, he's overpaid the same way Kessel was overpaid in Toronto, but that ain't his fault. |

Does he hit? Those points were scored a fair while ago if my memory serves me. When the going gets tough as I said he doesn't have another gear.
How did Jagr go on the boards? |

He hits about as much as Crosby and no one who actually knows anything about the sport and has the bandwith to not buy into lazy narratives would call Crosby soft.
To me soft guys are dudes who get knocked off the puck easily and can't handle board battles. Hit counts don't make a guy "tough".
Jagr is actually a very good comparison to Nash's puck protection skills. |

Brassard's gotta have the heads up to know that the goalie is on his belly in the slot and find a way to get the puck to someone who can just put it on net. Can't hold it behind the net there. |
