Curious what Pens fans think about the Horny's contract extension?

Personally I was a bit shocked both at the $ and the term I think they were both a bit high.

Would have been much higher on the open market, lets me honest. He could have probably got 6 mil easy in FA. I think 5.3 is pretty fair price for him, I don't like the 5 years...but I have a feeling he will be on another team by the time that contract ends.

Money and term was probably a slight discount over what he could have gotten. 6 x 6 was the common guess.

If they should have just let him go is another debate.
