Should be possible due to excess cap space renovated by the Brassard trade (that statement still doesn't compute with me lol), but asset wise I'm not sure how I see it. Rangers would have to really, really love Sheary. But for as much poop as our D gets year in and year out for being mediocre, this D would be pretty friggin awesome:

McDonagh? Curious how they fit his cap number under the cap this year and next? Who else in addition to Sheary do they flip? NYR would have to eat some of his salary to, which means the Pens give up more picks. They have an extra 3rd to trade, but they'll want more than that to eat $2 million.

Just read on DK that Brassard is still in TO waiting for the immigration paperwork to be completed. They're hoping for tomorrow, but it's the federal govt so.... Probably next Tuesday.

If we traded for McD, I'd think Maatta or Dumo would be going the other way. That being said, I'll take Yohe and Mackey over Kypreos for accuracy.
