I seem to remember a story where the Penguins traded for a crappy player because they had the spelling wrong. It was back when they wore the blue jersey's.

I’m a fan of Benn. I think too much was expected of him due to his family name, but as a bottom pairing dman I think he’d be a solid move.

Not sure MTL would want to move him though.

Did some research on him yesterday, he was a healthy scratch earlier in the year and some were saying he "could" be available. Not afraid to drop the gloves, has a red beard...almost seems fitting!

This was years ago so I don't remember the names, but Steigy told the story on the radio. Another GM pulled a fast one on the Penguins. The Pens didn't have the name right and ended up with the wrong guy.

I'm too lazy to try and find the names.

NHL is connect with sportsnet.....if you ever see the schedule on the upper part of NHL.com sometimes it will list a game on Sportsnet.....
