I think the we don’t know anything. Seems to me these deals can all of a sudden be on the table when they weren’t ten minutes before.

Wouldn't put it past GMJR to make a hockey trade today. Send Sheary out for a defenseman with a similar cap hit that no one is talking about.

That's what was mentioned yesterday - something like Sheary for Ben Hutton.

I think that is selling low on Sheary....albeit we kind of have to sell low on him right now.

Another name I noticed on the trade bait list was Connor Murphy. I like the idea of trading Sheary for a similiarly aged player with upside...but that is a really risky move imo. Murphy is signed for 5 years at $3.8M

On days like this I just wish I could easily read tweets in sequential order..

3.8M is not horrible. I think a paring of Murphy and Oleksiak would be one of the better 3rd pairings in the NHL. He seems to fit into the Pens model for defenseman as well.

I’m a fan of Benn. I think too much was expected of him due to his family name, but as a bottom pairing dman I think he’d be a solid move.

Not sure MTL would want to move him though.
