I really think he's going to come In and be a star from the first game.

I know you also watch every minute of every game,.

This is the most excited (aside from eichel) ive been over a prospect in 20 plus years. Maybe 30 with pierre

- Boss34

People Are expecting the world of Casey. Love the kid,. But we need patience. He has scored at a pace less than 2/3rds of what Jack did. we'd be Lucky to get Sam's production in year 1

Hank - last blog you asked about Casey.

I'm hoping for minimum sams rookie year numbers.
Hopefully closer to eichel.

Sam wasn't as silent the first year.

- Boss34

I would certainly hope Casey would FAR outperform Sam's rookie season. Seems like most hate Sam and can't wait for him to leave.

Hoping between Sam and eichel numbers.

Being flashy and fun to watch though is what I'm expecting %100..

Tough to compare college numbers. I see what your saying though

23 goals as a rookie mislead me.

Thought he would get better.

Could be worse

Devils traded a 2019 3rd and a low prospect for maroon who wants to go back to Edmonton go play with mcdavid and who knows how he will play without mcdavid

With that trade it probably means mojo is out for the season thanks to marchand

If I were Maroon I'd slice my hand cutting a bagel so I didn't have to play without McDavid. At least not before I got paid.

True. but how is Minnesota comparing up to Boston U? People here have been stating that Casey seems to be the only bright spot on that team and that if any of his teammates could handle the passes he makes he would be scoring at a 3-4 point per game pace. Maybe Casey is actually playing better than Jack, but he's just all alone.

Bills signed CB Vontae Davis, formerly of the Colts, to a one-year contract.

Released by the Colts back in November after it was revealed he needed groin surgery, Davis spent the rest of the 2017 season on the street recovering before going on a free-agent tour the past two weeks. In addition to Buffalo, he also visited the Dolphins, Raiders, 49ers, and Browns. With the Bills, soon-to-be 30-year-old (in May) Davis will slide into the lineup opposite 2017 first-round CB Tre'Davious White, with FS Jordan Poyer and SS Micah Hyde rounding out the base defensive backfield. It'll be a plus unit, especially if Davis can return to pre-2017 form. This could mean the Bills will be moving on from impending free agent CB E.J. Gaines.

Didn't think he was getting out of the Bay Area unsigned.

What chance do you guys give the Sabres to sign Casey Nelson? Sabres vs 30 teams seems like bad odds. Maybe he's not good enough to truly be upset about losing, but he was a rare player on this team that I had a modicum of fun watching get better.

yeah, right

the stigma of a few pics that made winnipeggers jealous followed him, all I see is eveidence of him being hazed

gerbe loves to talk about how bullying effects a man's mind and bring up incognito/martin

who's to say he isn't a frustrated young man, black, in a racially tense time in america where identity politics are out of control

pat kane raped a chick

evander kane took pictures with money stacks

but ones a locker room cancer

I'll say >60% He'll have suitors, but he's established here, we gave him a shot, and he'll probably have a close to guaranteed spot on the roster next season. We also have to cap space to maybe overpay him a bit. I'm not sure if he'll find a better situation/offer out there for him. But if it's about winning now, than he's gone.

I get it.

Shortsighted though.

It's going to be a north buffalo real estate market in a time.

Tickets will be unavailable .

Season tickets are like stocks. The market is down, but if its good, its likely to be good for a long time.

It will take a while though. There will have to be consecutive sellouts for a long time before you can recoup your money.

two completely different teams, and two completely different players. jack would have been a number one overall in most draft years, he was a grown man size at 18, and was fast enough to skate around everyone in college. casey is not that, he is 200lbs but still built more like a kid and doesnt skate nearly as well as jack. dont get me wrong he isnt slow but nobody would say he skates like jack. jack also uses a long stick while casey uses an overly short one, they look completely different in that regard. where he is going to make his money is with the puck on his stick in the offensive zone. he is really really good at knowing where everyone is on the ice and he will slow down the play, draw attention from defenders and when they least expect it he will just feather a filthy little saucer pass through like 3 guys right to the open guy in the slot or on the off post. the problem he is having now is not only are the defenders not expecting it, neither are his linemates. he catches them asleep regularly, its kind of funny and sad at the same time actually. you can teach strength, and skating. you cant teach filthiness. his handle is filthy. im not epecting a ton his first year but im excited to watch him on the big club asap.

What's lost is lost.

Moving forward though, winning and young talent is going to add excitement.

This town loves a winner. People will be waiting at the airport ect.
