I’m of the proactive mind set in most things & that leads me to projections. I see us strong down the middle at C. On the wing i like the combinations of assets. In goal Demko looks like a beacon. Its D like most teams face that luck & drafting are the answer & difficult to do at that. The Preds model has been in full gear for a long long time & Poile does it wherever he has been. Most teams simply don’t copycat him enough & its most difficult to do. Picking D high takes patience & its risky too. Still it means avoiding picking them results in ling rebuilds to be contenders. Rare that instant fixes for a Crosby or McDavid come along & they alone are not enough to win it all.

People like gudbransons signing. People like green. People like linden and benning. People have said they are ok with vanek past TDL. People are ok the sedins being re-signed a year or two longer.
