I didn't think we had good odds of getting better than a 3rd for Vanek until the Nash trade. I know they're different types of players but come on Vanek has to be worth a comparable amount

I never noticed you can turn off scouting notification. how do you do that?
It is so hard to get a top 5 pick in that game sometimes.

It's in the advanced settings, you can set the waiver notification and trade notification off, and turn scouting off in the same place. Only on the newest version, i don't know why it took them so long to do.

You have to trade for a top five pick, but if you draft for potential instead of expected position, I've found that you can nail franchise or elite players on the regular.

Anaheim seems the most desperate for scoring help right now, they're set up nicely down the middle but their scoring depth on the wings is shallow.

Not sure about formality, but believe Erik Karlsson has made it known to Ottawa in recent days that he would prefer to see expedited resolution to the current situation.

Ana & SJ both if not a 2nd then a 3rd & 4th is ok for me. Rather hold out for a 2nd or a good D prospect though.

I usually trade those for win now pieces. SO easy to keep yourself competitive with late round 'Low Elites' that never pan out but have tons of trade value.

I drafted 3 franchise goalies, two of them to ten and one on the second round in 5 simmed years.

Red elites suck. I did sign JV for 1.2m over 8 years, he makes a great 13th forward.

I win either way? Either my team does what it should do, or I see a bunch of people lose their minds over:

1) something they don't have any control over; and
2) something where they are not privy to all the information (i.e. the offers etc.).
