Why isn't the time right to try and win it all? I dont understand some of you seem content to just take a participation trophy in the playoffs this season.

The Leafs are 5th in the league. 5th! We are 3-1 against the bruins and 1-1 against the lightning this season. What's everyone scared of?

Why not add and go for it this season. This small add won't hurt us long term because of a second round pick. They didnt fly off the handle and trade away studs, just a couple of maybes. Playoffs aren't guaranteed next season either.

nothing wrong with going for it now, nobody said that....if we are going to trade high picks then get someone that will make an impact...dont see pleks doing that, but hope he does now that he is a Leaf.

You don't know what is going to happen in the future. As much as you seem to think you do. If you are 5th in the league, trading a 2nd when you already have two for help is not bad.
