He shouldn't get 12 million a year either. All three of them aren't getting the same money at the same time. The cap will not be a problem so soon that the Leafs have to go for it now or miss their chance. They have so much time, relatively speaking, it's ridiculous.

Why not add and go for it this season. This small add won't hurt us long term because of a second round pick. They didnt fly off the handle and trade away studs, just a couple of maybes. Playoffs aren't guaranteed next season either.

the leafs should rebuild. trade the good young players for picks. theyll fetch a good load of prospects and picks. just think about it. we can pretend we have no chance to win today so we can pretend well have a chance to win in the future!
