Forgot about him. I have a feeling he's been carrying an injury most of the season. He just regressed SO MUCH under a system that should have emphasized his abilities.
- feetontheair22

Housley was talking about him (& Sam)the other day on the Howard simon show & was gushing about him
U might be right about the injury

I think we will see some guys really take a step up in Housley’s system next year
(and then some just fad away)
Hoping McCabe can make that leap
I watched him every minute of the World JRs tourney a few years ago & he was so good
I thought he’d end up being top pair w Risto
Oops
Be nice to see him get back on track though

The Kane trade might take a few more hours guys

Nash being dealt so early was a big help to Kane’s value
He’s now far & away the best “rental”
And has 8-ish teams bidding on him
(FOR A FULL DAY! Thanks NyR)

I’ll be back later to argue with you all about the return we get
I bet it’s pretty good

Zubrus would have been a good idea to resign imo. He still had game

recchi is probably the only other one that recently was able to do it.. it can be done.. but i don't want to mortgage the future for Patty Kane

That would be a HUGE (frank) up on GMJB part. This waiting to the last possible minute to make deadline trades rarely ever works out well, at least for us. Let's hope history doesn't repeat itself today.

This JBotts is quite the poker player apparentl
Or he’s sleeping in.

Somebody call him and wake him up!

- IonSabres

I was a serious skeptic but I do think he is making the right move with the Nash deal getting what it did. I think we will get a first and a prospect plus something if he re-signs and maybe a playoff kicker if that team makes it to the cup. I guarantee we retain most of his current salary

Being said on national TV by John Shannon.

if that happens, it is a major failure.

Just heard that on NHL Network's Hockey Central (Trade Deadline).
I'm not saying it's true but it is possible that returns are fading if the number of teams interested lessen?

What a buzz kill. John Shannon from Sportsnet just said that a manager told him that Kanes' value is dropping so much there is a chance he doesn't get dealt today. Either he has bad sources, that manager wants to get the price down or we are (frank)ed

Disagree, They have enough to talk about.

You don't just say that.

I expect Kane to be moved today.

BUT

If they do not move Kane today, Everyone deserves to be fired. including the owner.
