We lost Nash, Grabner and Holden, UFAs at the end of the year. We lost McDonagh and Miller. McD had another year on his $4.75 million contract. We lost Miller who had a $2.75 million contract who is an arbitration eligible RFA at the end of the season. We lost 19 million in cap space right there.

We gained 2 first round picks, 2 second round picks with one of those a potential first round pick, a third round pick and a 7th round pick. We gained Namestnikov, Spooner, O'Gara and Belesky. Howden, Hajek, Lindgren, and Rykov. That is 4 players, 4 prospects and 6 draft picks for a total of 14 players for 5 players. We reduced payroll. We can use some of these players/prospects/picks to move up in the draft or get a player we want. We have lots of cap space to sign free agents. I like what Gorton has done. We could not stand pat. We didn't.
