I mean, when you think of it, how does he stay beyond the draft at latest. They put the for sale sign up on him, he didn't even participate in the Ratelle Ceremony last night, and the whole injury thing seems really shady. He almost has to be traded at this point, either now or this summer.

Even if he was really hurt, the fact that the Ranger Captain didn't take part is shocking. In a way, that's pretty strong evidence that they didn't want to have him representing the club at the Ratelle Ceremony, and then on the way to Florida the following day. But who the hell knows with these things. Still think it comes down to whether Gorton can find the deal he wants, and whether the last minute arm's race can drive up prices.

One of my good friends has been teasing me since Friday that the big, unexpected trade for the Rangers this year will be the acquisition of Jesse Puljujarvi from the Oilers.
Just putting that out there for the universe in case it comes true.

I smell a rat in A.V. possibly being a cancer to this locker room now.
McDonagh is not that type of human being, and was never brought up that way.
Maybe he and Hank have had some choice words against A.V. earlier.

Thanks Pete for making me aware. I somehow scrolled past the related post, & thought he was inferring to McDonagh, who they should hold for the related equivalent to what they received for Nash in exchange, with Gorton in control here of McDonagh's status.
