That all depends though. Personally I don't see why we can't keep all 3 - nyrangers9479
I don't either. And if you sign them to a new deal, it doesn't preclude you from moving them sometime thereafter. We do need to actually ice a hockey team next year.

So our back to back 50 point 24 year old that gets jerked all over the lineup is the problem. Gotcha. |

Less than 2 hours to go, I would've thought McD would be gone by now. |

If I had to pick any player on the team who would buy Chytil alcohol bc of the drinking age, id pick Miller. He just has that look, ya know? |

I think the debate on Miller is one where both sides have some points and the truth is somewhere in the middle.

I have a suspicion that part of the handshake between Grabs and Gorton would be that he would send him to a team close enough that he wouldn't have to relocate. Sending him to Preds would not have worked. I am happy with return from trade with Devils.
Just hope we re-sign him in off-season... - TommyGTrain
That's the one big word, in "HOPE", with him being for now under the Devils control. Had the Nash deal been completed first, I don't think that Grabner would have been dealt to the Devils, with the prospect in part received in Rykov, not being the Rangers first few choices demanded, plus having no guarantee he would even play here in America. The exception could be if Shestyorkin does decide to play here when his KHL contract expires, or if those Kovalchuk rumors of him really wanting to play for the Rangers are indeed accurate.
In addition, had the Nash deal gone down first, Gorton may have remained more firm in his demands overall for Grabner, to the point that he still may not have been dealt as of under 2 hours prior to the deadline. He may have received the prospect or two earlier that he had initially requested for, if not a #1 pick from the Devils for him.
Now the "HOPE" is that the Devils will not either first extend him while they can, or after the season become involved in a bidding war for Grabner, as they were for Shatty last summer. |

EK says the McD sweeps are really heating up and he's ready to go. So how long we sign him to an extension? |

No way do I see the NYR trading their captain to the Flyers. If they do the return better be massive |

well, they can't sign him to an extension until July 1st no matter what, so dont worry there |

Just can't see the Rangers doing that. He's not a "rental" per se. |
