No I get it. Some people are wired that way. 4 years ago, I'd never be happy about losing. Right now, wins won't matter. Does nothing for them. Lose as many games as possible, get the better pick. - tomburton99
Edmonton picked up a point, play them next Saturday, 6th here we come!! |

Waiting for hank to burst into tears in post game or just get up and leave it's the same questions over and over. |

I know you did. I just happened to use your quote.
You would think he was John Scott to some earlier in the day.
I think the Bruins might send Rich Nash and two firsts back to us for Spooner. - Pete V
Thought he was a good pick up based off numbers. But he did impress me tonight and made me think even better of him than I thought originally. After the deal I was hoping we'd flip him as I think he's have a lot of value to a contender. But with him being 26 there is no reason we can't keep him.
So the question is, is this a guy you keep and resign? Or move him tomorrow? Or see how the next 20 games go first?

Oilers win. - tomburton99
Just don't understand how Edmonton with all those high picks and talent can't get out of their own way thought they figured it last yr. |

See how it goes.
I certainly wouldn’t flip him for a 2nd rounder.

Trading Hall for Larson and Eberle for Strome certainly didn't help. |

The crazy thing, is after the big 2 they aren’t that talented. Some good pieces but nothing special.

This could be a quick rebuild, I would hold him. |

Gentlemen, I'm done for the night. Hopefully we see a good amount of trades tomorrow, including Mcdonagh. |

I have never seen a Ranger event like last night and the current Rangers captain didn't take part in it
if he isn't being traded, WTF then? |

A friend of a friend of a friend (not a joke and it's not hearsay...) spoke with Zuke last night. He wasn't in good spirits. Said it was 50/50 if he's staying. Said it was awful energy amongst the guys... He was almost looking forward to come to a new place.
Didn't sound good... |

from what I understand, the charter heading to Vancouver leaves at 1pm today
I can't imagine they would let anyone on the plane who wasn't going to be here at 3pm
we should know by 1 everything that happens. Right? ya think? |

Bizarre right? Watched with my brothers and we all said the same thing. Very strange, injury or not.
That said, the event was great though! The Rangers know how to do it |

it isn't time to complain about it, but it will continue to irk me that that era from 1978-87 the "sassoon era" continues to get passed up when putting somebody up in the rafters
the Rangers from 1979-1986 accomplished just as much as the Rangers from 1969-75 but the only thing they do to honor them is make them broadcasters |

Yes, for the vast majority of them, due in key to the amount of travel distance on this road trip.
But possibly not for an exception or two under some odd cases.
One case would be with a repeat of what had just occurred with Nash's trade, whereby it appeared the trade would be announced Saturday night, but was held up due to the Bruins need to shed cap space, and also have possibly a third team become involved at that time, (as in Pittsburgh's case Friday when acquiring Brassard without sufficient cap space, ... , somehow in Mario - Gary style, with Vegas later becoming part in paying a large 40% chunk of his cap). Had the Rangers not picked up their cap share in Nash, and not acquire Beleskey & 1/2 his cap share by 1:00 pm today, Nash would have been on this flight to Vancouver, had the initial trade gone down this morning instead of yesterday morning. |

Not sure what you are trying to say? If Nash wasnt traded, he’d play tomorrow? Brilliant! |
