I'm a ranger fan because of Andy Bathgate but probably my favourite ranger of all time is Ratelle . Was seriously compaplating flying out there to watch the ceremony . Living on the westcoast didn't get to see many Ranger games growing up , some on Sunday mornings on CBS I think . The only other times I'd see them if they played in Montreal or Toronto on a Wednesday or a Saturday night . I bought one of the 10' satellite dishes just to get ranger games in the late 70's . Hope they put on a good show for Ratelle tonight

Am I mistaken or was the organist playing the song from Babe?

The only thing I can say about Ratelle was he "looked" different when he skated. Its hard to describe in words, you'd really have to see it with your own eyes, but he GLIDED whereas others skated. The only player I can compare to him visually was Guy LaFleur, who also skated for the Rangers a few years after Ratelle was gone. Just really elegant looking...

There's really no buzz around McD right now like we had with Nash last night. I think he either stays or gets dealt in a package for a blockbuster type trade that no one saw coming. I don't think it will be a simple McD to Tampa/FLA/TOR for picks and prospects
