I am a cheap skate & didn t pay for wifi on the cruise ship I was on but my brother texted me when I was in Nassau (Bahamas) and saw about the Holden & Grabner trades. The Nash one came down as I got back home this morning. Crazy, are we still dealing u think?!

Just a bit..lol - rrentz
Kind of feels like 2004 deadline with all this dealing we're doing. I for one am glad, this team had its chances over the last 5/6 years but it's not happening ultimately, time was right for a rebuild.

Seeing that the Ratelle ceremony starts at approx. 6 pm, I doubt the Rangers will announce any trades until at least one hour after game ends. Ratelle was all about CLASS and I don't think the Rangers will want to take away from "his" night.
Also---- have to assume current Ranger Captain will have at least a small role in ceremony tonite, so it will be a good way for Garden to cheer him one last time on ice.

Nice. You did the NY to FL to Bahamas one? - mdw7413
We drove to Jacksonville FLA from LI (yea, we're morons!) and left from the Jax port. 30-35 hours combined both ways in the car w 2 girls under 10 NO GOOD.

These moves almost overshadow the Ratelle retirement which is a shame because (hell I am too young) many younger fans never saw him play or were even born. He deserves a great ceremony, all time Ranger who had this coming for a long time.
What's the can't refuse" offer for McDonagh that the Rangers received sometime shortly ago? I know that I could not find a single REPUTABLE one, which is why I do not feel AT THIS SECOND, that he will be dealt today, unless possibly after tonight's game on this special night in Rangers history in first honoring Jean Ratelle at their highest level. Or it could be possible that McDonagh could still be traded tomorrow before the 3:00 pm deadline, if that "can't refuse" offer should finally be presented to them. Had one already been made, McDonagh would have already been dealt.
