Apparently you don’t understand Beleskey and a 7th are useless pieces. And spooner isn’t worth what he will get in arbitration. It’s essentially a B level prospect and a late 1st.

If buffalo wants 4 spare parts and a 1st i think a team can manage that.

No Garth....just no. Kane has no where near the pedigree or resume to get that type of return. Expect a return of mostly a draft pick or two for Kane.

Why does everyone except Garth understand this trade ? The bruins didn't give up any of their top prospects and were able to dump Belesky's salary. Spooner did look a lot better and is an NHL player for sure, the #1 pick is a good haul . Its a pretty good trade for both but this idea Kane is going to get 5 top pieces is just idiotic.

literally every NHL insider the past week or so: kane isn't getting dealt until nash, because the market has clearly established nash as the preferred forward

It's hard for people to realize the truth when they are deluding themselves about the value of their asset

No GM out there is saying, "Holy cow, I can't go into the playoffs without Evander Kane on my team," considering the fact that, welp, Evander Kane has never actually played in a playoff game

I know. Stunningly enough, 16 teams every year for the past NINE YEARS have somehow managed to endure the agony of not having Evander Kane on their playoff roster

Who is going to give you anything for one playoff run then see the guy sign in Vancouver in the Summer? Its not a secret, the GMs know he is a rental.

Yeah Bob Murray hangs up the phone as soon as he hears the first S in Sam Steel's name. Keep trying though, you've only been wiffing on this Kane thing for like 5 years.

Totally, with his age and "talent" buffalo should be re-signing him, not trading him for a bunch of pieces that may or may not turn into anything. The fact that they are shopping him says a lot about his value to the team and value on the trade market.

Just facts. Kane is seven years younger, has more points this season, lower $ on the rest of Kane's contract than on Nash's, top-20 in goals scored for last 3 years, has not had a whiff of "trouble" in a year and a half.

Pedigree is for mastubators and sheepshaggers.

Not saying Garth isn't delusional (I mean, c'mon!) but I would wager that if Kane gets dealt to a playoff team that he scores more playoff ppg than Nash. Nash is already on the down-side of the hill.

Do you even think just for a second before you write your garbage. The Vancouver canucks, 2nd last in the conference are going to trade you one of their top prospect for what purpose?

Is Kane so bad that putting him in the team for 20 games gets them a better chance at the top pick?
