Looks like Nash probably headed to Boston.
- MBFlyerfan

Yep. I don't love that move for Boston. Nash has become a perimeter guy.

(I'm having issues quoting - @Tfaehner's post)

Also, don't look past Myers making the team next year as a darkhorse. He's been quietly putting together a solid rookie AHL season.

I think that Martel unfortunately is going to loose out, simply based on what they have in the pipeline. He's considerably has cooled off, even before the injury. I also don't know if Goulbourne will get a contract offer.

I think you'll see something like this next season:

28-14-11
54-19-93
40-21-17 (if he doesn't get traded, but I do think he will)
12-Vec-NAK
22/20/15

- VladDrag

I just think they want Meyers to get more games under his belt. He has been injured a lot and hasn't played as many games as people would like. I think he gets another year in the ahl just by not having played enough games. Sanheim Morin will be battling for spots

Yes for sure and as I mentioned yesterday as well he really should be getting consideration for the Hart trophy.
- Daceroni

Totally agree on g, but just as the narritice doesn't include corer for the selke, I don't think g will get a nomination.

He's been like g of old the last while especially.

I would think it depends on his camp, and who else is here....but your right he hasn’t shown the ability to stay healthy yet, hopefully that changes.....as for Morin he will play in the NHL next year...it just might not be in Philly.

Maybe he’ll be revitalized like Bobby Ryan in last years playoffs...but agreed he hasn’t been playing a high level for a couple of years now.

Yeah, I know what you mean. If I had to guess, he would be in the AHL next season; however, people thought that Morin would be on the team at the start of the season (I know he was, but he was only there to cover for injury).

I would love them to move Gudas or McD, as well.

Full Nash trade...

Done deal.#NYR acquire Ryan Spooner, Matt Beleskey, Ryan Lindgren (unsigned), Boston's own 1st Round pick in 2018 and Boston's own 7th Round pick in 2019. Rangers retain 50 percent of the Nash contract.#Bruins acquire Rick Nash. BOS retains 50 percent of the Beleskey contract

BSH had an article speculating on the flyers trading for Reinhart from buffalo. I would go that route before Kane and play him on third line wing and let Simmonds go at the end of the year.
Not comparing the two and would really suck to lose Wayne but his contract potentially would limit other moves.
Not sure what buffalo would want. I might send middling prospect and third rounder but that’s it.
I stay away from Karlson we don’t need him even if we could fit him in cap wise.

At this stage I think gudas could be moved with little effect on the team. Mcd we saw we struggled without him as sad as that is to say. I also think age contract and rh make gudas a more valuable asset.

I've never, ever been a huge Rick Nash fan. I know his numbers are great, etc, etc. Just a preference.

He'll help Boston, sure, but he's not the guy from '14-'15 anymore, let alone the guy from his CBJ days.

I think nash hasn't had an elite center for most of his career and possibly pairing with a guy like Bergeron could find his mojo again

NHL on the Fly just mentioned that Bergeron was seen in a walking boot after their game last night. Interested to see what that is about.

I saw that too. I was wondering if people were putting to much into us scouting them. We could of just been scouting the goaltending situation and Kane. Who knows at this point

I saw that after my post and even so Bruins fans seem to think he's going to be playing with krejci. (Spelling?)

Rangers are having a good deadline while others are sitting on their hands. Both the d prospects they took on were risks as in they may not sign nhl contracts with them but for rentals they are good trades.

With all these deals I am starting to wonder if they will move the King?

The Bruins in my mind over paid for Rick Nash. This isn't Nash in his prime.

I expect Hextall to do the safe route but I do think we could upgrade without hurting the team. Ideally we would ship Weise and Lehtera our anyway we can but that won't happen. A guy I would be willing to part with if it meant upgrading in his place is Jordan Weal. I just feel something needs to be done in improving the fourth line and making the second unit Power Play less of a waste of one minute's time on attack.

Believe it or not, in the right deal, I would take Bobby Ryan. If Ottawa just wants to contract moved, we have contracts we want moved too. I think Weise and/or Lehtera would be a lesser buyout for them.

I know this is gonna be an unpopular post, but I think it's time to improve and stop standing still.

Imo they let lundquist chose what he does. He's earned that right. If there were a trade I think it would be in the off season though.

Not sure what is worse, the ridiculous price Boston paid for Rick Nash or the fact that people still want Bobby Ryan in 2018.

4 more seasons at 7.25 for that production? Hexy should kill himself if he ever dealt anything for Ryan.

Even if he did spend a few years in Cherry Hill.

Just four years left at a pretty cheap cap hit of $7,250,000.
