I can already see him on a Rags jersey next year.

You know they're either backing up the truck to him or Tavares this summer.

What realistic add can Hexy do by tomorrow?

I would like to see a bottom 6 winger to help PK and cheap D depth -

Blake Comeau would be a decent pickup for a late pick and someone like Postma off of waivers if he makes it that far

I've been a consistent critic of Hakstol's personnel choices but he nailed it with this current lineup. I'm realistically hoping for these top 2 lines to stay intact for the next few years.

When Simmonds comes back we'll have Simmonds-Laughton-Raffl
Next year we'll have Simmonds-Frost-Raffl
2019 we could have Simmonds-Rubstov-Frost for a THIRD line

Add in Morin, Sanheim, and Hart......That's a Cup contender

Don't get ahead of yourself with Simmonds. With Patrick able to play his spot on the PPM and the emergence of Lindblom, I could see Hextall taking calls on him.

I agree with the thought that his defensive game has improved by leaps and bounds this season. I disagree with Norris consideration, though.

I agree here.

I’d be happy with an upgrade for Manning

Patrick has a long way to go to show that he is as good as Simmonds is at that PP spot. Plus I eventually see Patrick as the QB for the second unit at some point. Same for Lindblom in showing that he can produce as well as Simmonds has as a Flyer. That's getting ahead of yourself.

God I am praying they blow all their acquired draft picks on him

Wouldn't shock me if they did. This is the Rags after all.

I think he is talking about in terms of resigning him. Which with the amount of young big forwards that are pushing this lineup, resigning Simmonds is a major question mark

Wouldn't you rather do this deal for the 1st overall and not immediately put us in cap hell with Karlsson?

I'd be calling for Hextall's head if he made that deal.

I would be surprised if the flyers traded him, and I’d be surprised if they resigned him

I’m thinking more like
Sanheim
Rubstov
Blues first
3rd

Not a chance I’d do it. But I think it takes that

Kovalchuk coming back to NA is interesting, because I think he'd be a nice player to have around, riding shotgun to an already established offensive core of players:

Well, yeah. One hasn't even played in the NHL yet.

I have very little interest in Karlsson given what his next contract is going to look like. It just going to make it hell to resign guys in a few years.
