If we traded mdz and sutter, i would be ok with keeping vanek lol - Codes1087
If they traded mdz and Sutter it would only be the appetizer, I would then expect to see Vanek, Tanev and a few other deals made! |

Let me dream
I’m honestly OK with Sutter as a bottom 6 player, just don’t like his contract |

I would take Glass Theodore and a first for Horvat . Draft Tkachuk with your pick and draft two Dmen with the 30 th and 34 th pick - VANTEL
It's not enough for Horvat if he gets traded |

So the SC contending Preds just acquired a 4th round pick... - Nucker101
This is what I’m saying. It doesn’t matter where in the standings you are, if you continually gather more picks you will almost always have someone in the minors ready to promote... |

Correct, JB doesn't seem sly enough to pull that off. - bloatedmosquito
It's odd considering we have absolutely nothing to lose.
Especially in Vanek's case, GMs and pundits seem to view him as a consolation prize/matter of last resort.
Sit the bum and perhaps other GMs will realize that's there's actually some interest, real or not lol.
The fact that this management team, time and again, appear to be on the receiving end of the market is concerning. |

Nobody's untouchable on a rebuilding team. Horvat is one of our few trading pieces that has value. If the offer is there you got to take it. - bloatedmosquito
That is untrue. Rebuilding teams should not be trading foundational pieces that are young. Naturally if there is an issue with chemistry trades can be made, but Horvat should be untouchable right now. |

Don’t worry about it, if you can’t just fit in and complain you will be ridiculed for any other thoughts, whether sarcastic, ironically funny, facetious or just trying to even change the direction of everyday BS.
Benning is an idiot.
Linden is an idiot.
Sedins are responsible for every loss, every goal against.
Gudbranson is terrible.
Makita just likes to argue with himself.
Everyone else here is a GM genius. - Makita
The hen party is full. Lol

I'm starting to think JB's TDL last year was a one of.
I don't think they have a clue and will spin it to the draft. |

But maybe you should try him at 4C

but I do like green, he has good characteristics for a coach - SMBDragon
Well yes, Green is the best coach in team history, legendary status. |

I agree, you have to do something to indicate that you're trying to build a winner. Accumulating draft picks (especially when your GM is supposed to be a drafting wizard) would be a good start.
It's a low risk strategy. Fans are happy, GM has some assets to play with, team has cap space to maneuver, and the ability to position the team for future success which everyone is looking for. Even the owner.
So simple yet... |

Not a bad trade except who are these D u suggest 30th & 34th. A deep draft us one thing but doesn’t equate into any guarantees. IMO F’s are easiest to mine later on vs D. |

I’m not a fan of him, I think he is worse than Desjardins. But it’s who the team picked as a coach, just have to ride it out. - Makita
It's been said before many times. Changing the coach without changing the roster will amount to nothing and here we are. No shock. |

I agree. Problem is a popularity contest fan knows diddly squat about how he coaches. Piling on with the crowd ensues ala JB etc.
Toastmaster course is in order for JB
Suckholing 101 for TG
TL has to block the Sedins on his cel
