I got and liked JB's original thoughts to fill that mid-20s gap that the Canucks were sorely missing to help insulate and bring along the young guys without it turning into Edmonton, but that was only needed for a couple years. There's gotta be some turnover from the top to feed the bottom, older players being jettisoned to draft and bring in young guys. If he actively buys players this year without shipping anyone off.... rage

It's a caution to the old wise tale that every team that rebuilds is going to turn out perfectly.

I wish Van could do what NYR are doing. Unfortunately Van doesn't have the same set of players to do that. Why so feel the need to compare one organization to another IDK.
