Holtby looks mediocre this year as well. I have 0 fear of the caps - Tfaehner
If they can stay out of the box like they have been. They’ll take them down. That’s who I want no question |

I tried watching it, but I just don't get the attraction of shuffleboard on ice with people chasing after it with brooms. It just looks like something that Eskimo seniors should be playing with their grandkids. - BiggE

How much do you want Weise gone?
Would you entertain Ryan and Cole for Weise and McDonald - Bayareaflyer
If you retained the salary difference....in a heart beat.

I love cherry Hill's own Bobby Ryan more than most (grew up with his family) but no way in hell do I want that contract. |

it would need to be the max allowed. I mean, maybe going to a new team would get him back to playing like Cherry Hill's own Bobby Ryan but it would need to be a lot retained |

It would be complicated for sure....but your gassing two bad contracts for one. Ryan is still serviceable...he’s a 3.5 million talent....if that shortfall can be made up...why not ? A change of scenery would do this kid wonders.....just my opinion.

Nah, I can (and do) pretty much drink everywhere. If I'm going to watch a boring sport live, I'll go with beach volleyball. At least it usually comes with girls in bikinis in the vicinity.

I know every game is a must win, but they need to beat this crappy team today. |

How many different ways are there to say no?
That trade makes 0 sense for the Flyers under the Hexy approach. |

with a 7,250,000 cap hit for 4 more years and a modified NTC and a NMC. seriously they would need to eat 50%. his last two seasons minus the playoffs - 102 GP 20-26-46. |

The Flyers havent lost in regulation in what 10 games. I expect them to lose a few at some point. You can make the argument that it cant be against bad teams and that wouldn't be wrong but the opposite side to that is I would rather they lose against the Sens then say the Devils. |

Right
I said it last night, he's a useful player but people elevating them to surefire cup contenders like he's some sort of difference maker is puzzling. - Giroux_Is_God
I think it's less about him and more about the pens having actual center depth now. I do think he's good and a luxury to have as a first liner |

Weise has two more years and Mac has three more...so in those years the salaries are actually more of a cap hit....year 3 maybe ask for a bit more along with year 4....I still think Flyers like Mac, and view him as a stop gap until the kids are “Flyer” ready.

Yeah it looks like it could be fun. Hell, I like playing bocce and poker, but they aren't exactly my go to's when it comes to spectator sports

I believe AMac and Weise are both done after 19-20. AMac signed a 6 year deal prior to the 14-15 season.

Throwing this out there, Does Giroux get consideration for the Hart this year? I think he should for sure as really there is no clear cut runaway leader right now(Kucherov maybe for his consistentcy all year) and with the Oilers not making the playoffs can u give it to McDavid, I don't think so. |

In a vacuum, where salaries weren't a thing, I'd do this deal in a cocaine heart beat.
However, for this deal to work for the Flyers, the Sens would have to assume a good part of Ryan's salary and cap hit.
That Ryan contract should be a warning to anyone looking at signing JVR this offseason. |

Funny you say that...his name isn’t being mentioned, but he has to get consideration....to me this is his most complete year in the last 4....I keep waiting for his name to be brought up as well. |
