Ryan will lower his value
To TBL: Karlsson, Ryan
To OTT: 1st,2nd,Howden, Hajek, another prospect(Raddysh or Cirelli?)
To Van: Ryan, Foote
To TBL: 6th - Retinalz
I think you are dreaming. If you take on a bad contract, normally you move up about 15-20 spots in the draft not from a 6th round to a 1st round.
When Arizona took on Datysuk they moved up 4 spots in the first round.
When Arizona took on Dave Bolland, they got a 11oa Bust in Lawson Crouse for a 2nd and 3rd round pick.
Yet you want to move from a 6th round pick to the 15oa. |

7.25 is a ton of cap for a player injured more often than Tanev. Not a ton of teams I don't think would be interested in that. - Codes1087
He has missed 100 games over 10 years. That's not that much. |

Going from a 6th to a 1st rounder for Ryan's contract is thinking that if you stare at those apples and oranges long enough, they will turn into gold and diamonds. |

Bolland and Datsyuk weren't getting paid.
Bolland was only being paid 20% by the team |

Couldn't tell you, don't watch them or listen to eastern broadcast feeds.
If the Canucks play on one of those feeds the volume is off. |

There's no middle ground for the Canadian teams these days..maybe Calgary I guess.
But the rest are either on the rise or in shambles |

Ottawa's 1sts over the next 2-3 years could be top 5.
Get Aquilini's mafia to keep Ryan on LTIR when the team is good again |

I can't stand them but they're 5th overall in the NHL standings, hard to ignore. Yes they play in a not so great division but so did the Canucks for years when they were on top of the league.
Point being it's hard to make fun of them anymore

shut up
They're not built for the playoffs. Too soft and weak defensively. Boston is going to (frank) them up |

Bob McKenzie said it would be Logan Brown or somebody like batherson and a 1st at minimum. |

by all accounts he's among the league leaders in money spent on his team outside of the player payroll, I don't think he's a cheapass, I just think he's a short-sighted impatient fanboy |
