I'm surprised that the Ryan contract is part of the negotiations...makes things much more difficult.

Not only that though, they're limiting the return. There will be less suitors with Ryan involved and if Bolland's trade is any indicator it will cost a lot to move Ryan. If I'm getting it right, Bolland had a lower cap hit and one less year of term than Ryan now, it cost Florida Lawson Crouse (#11 in the previous year's draft) for a 3rd to get it done...

I could see Kane playing for an offensively gifted team like the Pitts and having no prob scoring 30+.. he can skate, score, play a gritty game, fight (and win) I know he was an ass hat for a time but he can play. Its too bad his past will also haunt him

and he has played on a horrible team. If anything, think Kane has put up outstanding Goal numbers while here. Kane and Eichel are the only bright spots on an otherwise poopity team

He’s a career 9% shooter. He needs volume. He gets volume on a bad team.

Won’t get that on a good team with depth and better players

I will agree to disagree. Put Kane on Pitts he scores 30+, The only reason why he shoots so much is who the hell else is going to on this team? Nobody else can hold the puck long enough to get a shot off....
