Hasn't this year. Question will be is ZAR or Guentzel good enough or do they play Rowney. They have the option of giving Crosby or Malkin some extra shifts on the 4th line and playing Sheahan at wing so the 12th forward isn't super important at even strength.

I could easily see Rowney getting 5/6 mins for PK and FO duty. Basically stealing Reaves spot. No question you'd do that if you don't think Brassard will pk very much. Honestly, I don't have nearly the problem with Rowney on wing as I do with him at center.

Yeah but next time it goes the highest people quote will be first I remember. Just don't see a 6M salary fitting unless they shed a contract.

Very hard to get an American visa that quickly. They have to get a work visa just like everybody else would. Teams do have specialty people that do that solely for them but I highly doubt he would play that quickly anyways.

As for how this all plays out, it looks like like McKenzie said Vegas is the team so I believe ottawa will give some sort of asset to Vegas to eat the salary of brassard so ottawa takes $0 on. Vegas will then send brassard to pens for a small asset back is what I think is happening. Just my guess. Confused as everyone else I think haha
