I agree. The only way i see an "a" prospect coming back is with a salary dump coming along for the ride. Especially if you want an "a" defense prospect i would expect a rather large salary dump.

I think someone just didn't fully explain that one and people ran with it.

Players DO peak around 24,25, but they usually sustain that level for 4 or 5 years. Good ones anyway, great ones can sustain it longer.

That's generally speaking of course, there are exceptions to every rule.

Sure. Go for it. I dont think youre getting a guy like that and a pick though. I would like to think he could turn it on in a couple years time when we would need him to be good. Ive said it before, the plan has to be for the year after the lockout. Get young and fast and come out trying to win in three years time.

We have 2 more years to fix the mess. No way in hell this team is a contender next year so i dont care how good they are, then the lost season, then be good.
