This is the first time I've sat down and really watched the men's hockey. Holy hell is this bad hockey.

The IOC/IIHF are fapping all over the results so far. This won't do anything to bring back the NHL to the Olympics.

The point is to grow the sport...Germany with a silver medal...looks good in their eyes.

What they should do is at least allow the AHL'ers to go. Dont shut down the NHL but rather the AHL.
That way we can watch the leafs AND an ok Team Canada.

They won't, but this really sends a message: ratings are way down apparently and will be even worse next time around, once people know what to expect. Spengler Cups don't sell well.
